Landscape Photography Workshops
CORNWALL DEVON & EUROPE
Diorama from Ancient Greek ‘through that which is seen’. The Diorama was invented in 1822, it consisted of translucent painted backdrops, lit in such a way as to create the illusion of realistic landscapes. This led its inventor to pursue the idea of permanently fixing light onto a surface, giving rise to the birth of Photography in 1839. Diorama Days is a nod to that most elegant technology.
Harry Fricker MA (Image & Communication, Goldsmiths), with 20+ years experience in Photography Education & Freelancing, establishes Diorama Days in 2018.
